The Beta is Back!

The StarCraft II beta is finally back online and will be operational until July 19th, giving players 10 days to get their fix before it comes down for good in preparation for the launch on July 27th.
In addition to all data being reset, several new features have been added. Most notably are the cross-game social features between StarCraft II and the highly popular World of WarCraft. In addition to the social features, all of the A.I. opponents have been enabled as well as all of the match types. Battle.net achievements and rewards have also been updated as well as several of the icons. Numerous models have also received some extra polish and you may notice it when you load up the most recent map you were working on.
As for map makers, a few of the icons have been updated on the editor as well as a nifty new icon for the executable. The biggest change is now the requirement that modders must have an active Battle.net account with a StarCraft II character. Surely this is to upset some modders who have not been accepted into the beta.
Fortunately we have some beta keys to give away. In order to be eligible, you must register as a member on StarCraft2Mods.com, follow us on Twitter here, and like us on Facebook here.
Update: And the beta has finally come to an end. Just over one week to go before the launch. Make sure to get plenty of sleep between not and then…
