Evolves Classic is a take on the popular SC1 map “Evolves.” Breakspirit has given it an overhaul and continues to support the map adding new evolutions and features.

Blizzard has announced that in preparation for Blizzcon, they are holding a custom map making contest. The prizes are pretty awesome in that it includes an all expense paid trip to Blizzcon where your map will be featured in a special section as well as $5000.

With only a few more days until the worldwide launch of StarCraft II, the Activision Blizzard hype machine is in full gear. At this point it is kind of hard to traverse the internet without getting pelted by StarCraft II ads, but since they’re so sharp looking, we don’t mind.

Blizzard has just launched a new site for StarCraft II in preparation for the upcoming launch of the game. The new site is one hell of a looker but is still in beta at the moment with posting disabled for all but beta participants.
